چکیده

In this study, the effects of graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets on physicochemical properties and performances cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB) membranes were investigated. Nanocomposite fabricated using CAB a small amount GO in range 0 to 0.07 wt.%, conventional phase-inversion method. Membranes characterized by different methods their tested dead-end filtration system. Compared with pristine membrane, experimental results demonstrated an improvement features such as hydrophilicity, permeability, salt rejection, antifouling, stability. The proved increase porosity pore sizes addition. Furthermore, membrane containing wt.% exhibited low contact angle 37??and dramatic water flux about 450% (from 2 11 L/(m2 h)). Moreover, it rejection 39% for NaCl 87% Na2SO4, corresponding improvements 144 93%, respectively. revealed higher antifouling property 86% recovery stability terms performance thermal compared CAB.

Fabrication and Characterisation of Graphene oxide-Epoxy Nanocomposite

Adequate amount of graphene oxide (GO) was firstly prepared by oxidation of graphite and GO/epoxy nanocomposites were subsequently prepared by typical solution mixing technique. X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern, X-ray photoelectron (XPS), Raman and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy indicated the successful preparation of GO. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Transmission electr...

FABRICATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OFHIGH PERFORMANCE CERAMIC MEMBRANE HAVINGNANOMETRE PORES

Abstract: In this study, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were grown directly in the pores of micro porous pyrex membranesand consequently ceramic membranes with very fine pores and high porosity were achieved. Our experiment was donein two stages. Initially cobalt powder with different percent was homogeneously mixed with pyrex powder. In order toproduce row membranes, each of these mixtures were compa...
